Greater One

This bumper sticker speaks for itself.

Since we had such a wonderful dinner Monday night, we returned Tuesday to the same spot and had the same great beer and the same great halibut. This is the West Rib Pub, named for the main route used to climb Denali.
For those of you who saw "Out of the Wild" on the Discovery Channel, you might recognize the train station where the 'survivors' were picked up. This is taken from right behind where our camper was parked. I believe they said on the show something about only 1 train a week....Not True. Four during the night, alone!

Another shot of West Rib Pub, from the inside....

Wednesday morning, we woke up to perfectly clear skies, and thought we'd take another look to check on Denali. Sure enough. There she was in all her glory. Unfortunately photographs really don't do it justice.

Another picture of Denali from the South Denali viewpoint along the Parks Highway, on our way back to Fairbanks.

Wednesday night, we took June's grandson Logan camping out Chena Hot Springs road. Along the way, we spotted some wildlife. She made no effort to move away, and was obviously used to the traffic going by taking her picture.

Grammy June and Logan cooking hotdogs, while Casper waited in anticipation.....

A road sign not often seen in Oregon....

Eight-months pregnant Breanne with son Logan at his second soccer game. His team is the
Blueberries! A very cute group of 4 year olds.
