Down South...

Along the way we saw some destitute-looking people, vaguely resembling Bruce & Sheryl....

Next we headed for Tombstone, AZ - THE TOWN TOO TOUGH TO DIE.....While there we encountered Wyatt Earp and the gang having a shoot out...

We managed to escape unharmed. No visit to Tombstone is complete without a visit to Boot Hill Cemetery....here's where the boys are buried....Check Spelling

From Tombstone we went further south to Bisbee, an old copper-mining town. It was very picturesque. We had lunch at the Copper Queen Hotel, the oldest hotel still in use in Arizona, dating back to the early 1900's....

From Bisbee we headed back north again via Safford and Globe. We took the "long way" to a unique spot we had been before called Tortilla Flats, a unique old dining hall with dollar bills stapled to the walls.....thousands of them. The bar stools are saddles. The drive took us down the old historic Apache Trail, a 30 mile winding dirt road. In this picture, notice how small the vehicle is, to get an ideal of the grandeur. It was as magnificent as the Grand Canyon, if not more so, and we intend to do the drive again sometime.

And finally here is proof that Tom is NOT enjoying retirement:

Disneyland

Here are a few shots from Disneyland. That's my sister with me and Pluto - she joined us for most of the day. We were there from 10:30 a.m. til 7:30 a.m. (closes at 8). It was a fun day, and Logan loved every minute - especially his ice cream bar!

The Wedding!

We just returned from the wedding. Will put a few pictures below. Unfortunately the only pictures taken of Tom and I were taken by the photographer - none on my camera! I have emailed her to send me a copy asap, and when I get them I'll post them. The weather could not have been better - the wedding was beautiful! The final picture posted below is of the girls with my sister's son John. He and his family now live in the Irvine area, recently moved from Arizona.
